title: How to export video, audio or a PNG still from invideo Editor
description: Export your timeline as an MP4 video, an audio file or a PNG image of the frame at the playhead.
---
Open **Export** in invideo Editor and choose the output you need. Use **H.264 · MP4** for a finished video, **Audio only** for sound, **Still frame** for a PNG image, or **Editable project** for a project file.

## Export an MP4 video

1. Open your timeline and select **Export** in the top toolbar.

2. Choose **H.264 · MP4**.

3. Check **Range**, **Resolution**, **Frame rate** and **Quality**. Review **Loudness target** for your delivery needs.

4. Check the summary and select **Export**.

## Export an audio file

1. Choose **Audio only** in the Export window.

2. Check **Range** and select the available **Format** you need. The listed audio formats are WAV, AAC and Opus.

3. Review **Loudness target**, then select **Export**.

## Export a PNG still

1. Move the playhead to the frame you want to save and check it in the Monitor.

2. Open **Export** and choose **Still frame**.

3. Choose **Resolution** and check **Frame** to confirm the playhead position.

4. Select **Export**.

After exporting, open the file and check the picture or sound. Choose settings for your destination. An example's resolution, frame rate or loudness target is not a universal requirement.

## Export an editable project

An editable project lets you keep working in another editing app.

1. Choose **Editable project** in the Export window.

2. For Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, export an editable project. For DaVinci Resolve, export with **OpenTimelineIO**.

3. Open the project in the other app and check the imported timeline before you continue your edit.

Your agent makes the same file with `export` and `format`. It makes a project file for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, with a `format` of `premiere`, `davinci` or `final_cut`. The agent reads the export card again until the files list is present, then gives you the files. See [Export to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro](/how-to/export-to-premiere-resolve-final-cut).

## Share your timeline for review

To collect feedback, follow [How to share a timeline for review](/projects-and-exports/how-to-share-a-timeline-for-review-in-invideo-editor).

When access is set to **Anyone with the link** (`public`), viewers can watch without an account. Reviewers need an invideo account to leave comments.
