title: Creating with Kling 3.0
description: Make cinematic video with native audio, multi-shot scenes and consistent characters with Kling 3.0 on invideo.
---
Kling 3.0 is a video generation model, available on invideo. Your agent calls it as `kling_v3_video` (Kling 3.0 Video). It makes cinematic video with native audio, multi-shot scenes, consistent characters and lip sync. It is built for creators who need finished output for ads, UGC, short films and social content.

## How to get started

In the invideo app, open Kling 3.0 from the generative models on the homepage.

1. Select **Agents & Models**, then **Generative models**, then **See all**, then **Kling 3.0**.
2. Upload a first or last frame image, or start from a text prompt alone.
3. Enter your prompt and select your settings: shot type, resolution and duration.
4. Confirm the credit cost and generate.
5. Download your video.

The agent uses the same model through `generate`.

Your agent runs a dry run first. For any call that costs 1 credit or more, it tells you the price and waits for your yes. A call under 1 credit runs without asking, and your agent tells you what it cost.

## Spec information

`kling_v3_video` takes a prompt, an optional first and last frame, and optional voice audio. It makes sound when you turn `sound` on, and multi-shot mode gives a scene of several shots. The aspect ratios are 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. A timeline export from invideo is a 1080p MP4. For resolutions, durations and sizes, the agent reads `get_model`.

## Prompt best practices

Kling 3.0 responds well to prompts that describe the scene, characters, action and camera in one structured statement.

*Example: Over-the-shoulder tracking shot following a man in a dark coat through a rain-soaked Tokyo alley at night, neon reflections on wet pavement, handheld camera, tense thriller tone, ambient city noise and distant traffic.*

| Tip | Why it helps |
| --- | --- |
| Describe each character distinctly in your prompt | Kling 3.0 uses character descriptions to keep identity across shots |
| Specify audio direction explicitly | Kling makes native audio. Describe dialogue tone, ambient sounds or music style |
| Use multi-shot mode for scene sequences | Kling 3.0 handles camera transitions when you describe the story of the scene |
| Upload a first frame for character anchoring | Gives the model a visual reference to lock character appearance across the generation |

Models retire. If a model is not found, your agent runs `find_models` with the job in words, uses the best match, and tells you. See [Models](/reference/models#when-a-model-retires).
