When you delete, you choose what happens to the space it leaves. 1. Click **Edit**, then **Media**. Opening the Media section from the Edit menu 2. Select the trash icon on the media. 3. Click **save changes**, then preview the video. ## Delete and add blank media This option replaces the media with a blank placeholder. Gray lines show where one segment ends and the next starts. ### One media in the segment The AI changes the duration of the media before or after the segment to cover the gap. A segment with one media between gray lines ### Several media, all with auto-trim disabled You can disable auto-trim to give a media a fixed duration. If every media left in the segment has a fixed duration, the AI adds new media to fill the full length of the segment. A segment where the media have auto-trim disabled ### Several media, at least one with auto-trim enabled The AI stretches the media that have auto-trim enabled to fill the segment.
