title: Why should I route related audio tracks through a bus?
description: Control a group of sounds together while retaining their individual track balance.

A bus brings related audio tracks together so you can manage their combined output. invideo Editor’s audio mixer supports tracks and buses, allowing voice, music and effects to be organized within the mix.

Use individual tracks to balance elements within a group, then use the group’s bus when you want to change them together. For example, several ambience tracks may need their internal balance preserved while the whole atmosphere becomes quieter. Check the bus and overall mix levels as you work.
