## When you create or edit a video

A paywall while you create or edit a video usually means your account does not have enough credits. Each video you make with generative media uses credits, based on its length.

If your credits are not enough to finish the video, a paywall offers to sell you more credits. You can pay, or close the pop-up and make the video with stock media instead.

Generative media are made by AI. Stock media are ready-made files. For how credits are calculated, see [invideo plans and credits](/credits-and-plans/invideo-plans-and-credits-everything-you-need-to-know) and [Credits and what they cost](/account/credits).

## When you download a video

If you are asked to pay when you download a video, the video likely uses more iStock than your plan includes.

An active plan includes standard stock from Storyblocks, Shutterstock, Pexels and Pixabay, and a monthly allowance of iStock licenses.
