title: How credits are charged when using AI Agents
description: How Agent Two charges credits for its work and generation, how to check what you used, and how to approve each generation.
---
Agent Two is invideo's own agent. Agent Two's work and the media it makes use credits. An outside agent edits for free and pays only for generation, transcripts and paid stock. What you pay depends on the models Agent Two uses and how much it makes in each exchange.

Each time the agent answers you, it can do several things at once: reason through your brief, generate images, make video clips, design a voice and more. Each of these actions uses credits, based on the models that run in the background.

An outside agent, such as Claude or ChatGPT, runs its own chat on that app's plan. It runs a dry run first and tells you the price before it spends anything. See [Credits and what they cost](/account/credits).

The mode you choose changes how many credits each generation uses.

## Lite, Pro and Ultra: what's the difference?

Agent Two has these modes:

- **Lite**: fast and light on credits. Built for sketching, testing and early creative work. Use it when you want to move quickly and try many ideas.
- **Pro**: premium quality across the board. Best for final output and finished work. Each generation costs more credits.
- **Ultra**: the highest-quality models and settings, on top of Pro. Use it for your final cut.

Exports are 1080p MP4 in every mode. In Pro and Ultra, Agent Two can upscale the exported file for a higher resolution. Lite does not upscale.

## How to check credits used

After the agent finishes a response, click the **three dots (···)** on that message. You see the credits charged for that exchange, for the conversation and all media made in it.

To see the total credits used across a project, close the Agent window, click the **three dots** in the top right corner, and select **Project Usage**.

For the price of each model, see [Credits and what they cost](/account/credits).

## Set a credit limit for a member

To cap what one person can spend, set a credit limit for them. Open your profile menu (your picture in the top right corner), choose **Members**, and open **Set limit** for that member. Choose **Unlimited** or **Set amount**, type the amount, then click **Set limit**. Agent Two stops generating for that member when they reach it.

## Staying in control of generations

By default, the agent is set to **Always allow**. It generates without asking for permission. For more control, click the permission toggle in the chat box and select one of these:

1. **Ask before generating videos**: the agent asks for approval before it generates a video.
2. **Always ask before generating**: the agent asks for permission before any generation.

When the agent asks for approval, you see an **Approve** popup. It shows what the agent is about to make: the prompt, model, duration and aspect ratio. You can approve it as it is, or change any of these before you confirm.

This helps when you want tight control over credit usage. You review each generation before it runs, so your credit balance holds no surprises.
