title: I accidentally selected a yearly plan instead of monthly. What are my options?
description: Check which billing cycle you're on, switch from yearly to monthly, and see when a refund may apply.

When you select a plan on invideo, the checkout page shows the billing cycle (monthly or annual) and the total amount before you confirm payment.

If you are not sure which one you selected, check your email receipt, or open **Subscriptions** in your profile menu to see your current billing cycle.

## Switching from yearly to monthly

You can switch from an annual plan to a monthly plan at any time from **Subscriptions** in your profile menu. The change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, not at once. You stay on your annual plan until it ends. After that, invideo bills you monthly.

## How to make the switch

Make the switch from **Subscriptions** in your profile menu:

1. Click your profile icon and choose **Subscriptions**.
2. Select the monthly version of your plan.
3. Confirm the change. It takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

## What about a refund

If you have not used the plan, you can ask for a refund within the refund window. See [Refunds and cancellation](/account/refunds) and [How to request a refund](/billing/refunds-how-to-request-one-and-what-s-covered).

**A note on the annual discount.** Annual plans on invideo cost less than paying monthly. If you switch to monthly at the end of your cycle, you lose this discount and pay the standard monthly rate from then on. You can switch back to annual at any time.
