You create your own avatar from a photo or a video of yourself.

1. In the prompt box, click **AI twins**.

2. Choose to create a **Free** or a **Pro** avatar of yourself. A Pro avatar uses credits. See <a href="https://invideo.io/help/billing/how-do-credits-work/" target="_blank">how credits work</a> and [invideo plans and credits](/credits-and-plans/invideo-plans-and-credits-everything-you-need-to-know).

3. Follow the steps on screen.

invideo requires explicit consent from the person in the recording. If you use the Free avatar option and do not give consent in the recording, a message asks you to record again with consent.

4. Click **Looks good** and make sure all the boxes are ticked.
