The default avatars, human and virtual, come with a full-screen background that you cannot remove. To get a look without a background, switch the avatar to Picture in Picture (PIP) placement.

1. In the video, click **Edit**, then **Script**.

2. Click the avatar's name in the script. A popup menu opens.
3. Find the **Mode** setting and change it from **Full screen** to **PIP**.

The avatar now shows without its background.
